About Gayn Ransomware
Just like other ransomwares from this Police virus family, this infection is distributed by Trojan that comes through spam email attachments, freeware or misleading links that you may accidentally click on the Internet. After such an infection system does not respond to almost any commands given. Thus, if you see files, including .docx, .docm, .xls, .xlsx, .ppt, .pptx, .pptm, .pdf, .eps, .ai, .indd, .cdr, .dng, .lnk, .jpg, .png, .pdd, .doc, .jfif, .jpeg, .gif, .bmp, .exif, .txt, .wps, .mp3., and many others have an Gayn, it means that you’ve been infected with a ransomware. However, computer users should know that even after paying Gayn may remain on your system and provide no or fake decryption key. It says that my files were encrypted and that I need to pay money to someone in order to get them back!
